2008 Serra Toyota / Airport Marine Charity Tournament - May 31, 2008

Last April over 300 anglers gathered at Lay Lake to compete for thousands is cash and prizes. Due to the overwhelming success and participation last year the Toyota/Airport Marine Charity tournament will return in 2008. This year we will be giving a way a Bass Cat boat powered by an Evinrude Outboard and a Toyota Tundra Truck.

2008 Airport Marine Team Trail - Lake Jordan, 5/3/2008

Everett / Curd win at Jordan...The Airport Marine Team Trail made its final stop of the season at Lake Jordan. The team of Everett / Curd took first place with a weight of 18.91 lbs., Lee / Payton took second with 17.98 lbs, and Dill / Moody rounded out the top three with 17.54 lbs. The Couples title went to Fomby / Fomby with 16.94 lbs. and King / King won the Parent-Child division with 15.63 lbs. Big fish went to Moore / Oswalt at 5.40 lbs.

2008 Airport Marine Team Trail - Lay Lake, 4/19/2008

Coby Carden / Jamie Horton win big! The Airport Marine Team Trail visited Lay Lake on 4/19 for an early spring showdown between Alabama's top bass fisherman. The team of Coby Carden and Jamie Horton swept the tournament, taking first place with 20.58 lbs. and Big Fish (7.74 lbs.). The team also is qualified to take home up to $8,000 in additional winnings for winning the tournament out of a qualified boat purchased at Airport Marine. This would bring their one day total to $11,000. Second place went to Moore/Oswalt with 17.68 lbs. and in third was Stewart / Kyle with 16.93 lbs.

The team of Giddens/Giddens took the couples title with 16.16 lbs, they also finished fifth overall making them a very happy couple. The parent child title went to the team of Morris/Davis with 11.72 lbs.

2008 Airport Marine Team Trail - Lake Logan Martin, 4/5/2008

The Airport Marine Team Trail made it's second stop on Lake Logan Martin on April 5, 2008. The tournament launched out Lakeside Marina and Campground. The weather was a bit dreary after some heavy rain during the early morning hours, the water was hovering in the upper 50's and down about two feet. First Place went to the team of Stewart/Stewart who brought in a solid limit of over 19lbs. Second went to Barry Isbell who had 18.42 lbs and rounding out the top three was Holcombe/Higgins with 17lbs. Big Fish honors went to Hamaker/Gay who caught a 6.14lb lunker.

2008 Airport Marine Mid-Week Solo Trail

Yes, that is right! On Wednesday! Fish alone and the opportunity to be a hero or zero. The entry fee is $65 per boat and $5 optional Big Fish. There is a one time $30 initiation fee to be paid back in full at the classic. Next tournament is 05/14 at Lake Logan Martin (Lakeside Marina)
